Wistron Corporation Company Visit
Event Title: “Industry Exposure Wistron”
I. Details of the event/activity
On January 13, 2024, we had a company
visit to WISTRON and had the chance to see their facilities and get a personal
look at how they operate. The staff at WISTRON gave us a tour of their
production facilities and gave us information about the kinds of jobs that are
done there and the kinds of goods that they manufacture. We saw the commitment
and accuracy in every stage of the production process, from assembly lines to
quality check stations. We also acquired a thorough understanding of the wide
range of electronic goods that WISTRON produces.
II. Reflections on the
webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)
The fact that Wistron offered us a
thorough examination of electrical production is among the most amazing
aspects. We witnessed the meticulous and careful manufacturing process. Meeting
the employees made us realize how important it is to operate as a team and make
good use of technology. Impressive was WISTRON's emphasis on safety and
environmental friendliness. All in all, it was enlightening and gave us a
wealth of knowledge on the field.
III. Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the
webinar input on a practical level (practical application of learning)
The collaborative spirit and teamwork demonstrated by WISTRON's
employees serve as a valuable lesson in fostering a positive work environment.
By promoting open communication, encouraging cross-departmental collaboration,
and recognizing the contributions of each team member, we can cultivate a
culture of teamwork and innovation within our organization.
IV. Positive feedback (on the event organization)
The trip to
WISTRON was a priceless learning opportunity that offered insightful knowledge
about the field of electronic manufacturing. I came back knowing more about the
difficulties in making electronic items and having a greater respect for all of
the effort and commitment that goes into it.
V. Suggestions for improvements
to be made/consider for future activities
Make the visit interactive with workshops
or hands-on activities to keep participants engaged.
